Tip 5 - Studio Facial Contour Makeup

We recommend the use of the Revlon Photoready Sculpting Blush Palette which comes complete with highlight and shadow colours. The photo on the right shows a pattern of treatment using high lighter, blush and bronzer.

Facial contouring is used to change the apparent shape of the face and to de-emphasis small defects such as nose bumps. These are professional tricks that our makeup artist uses to help you features stand out.

Tips on Contouring, Blush and Powder

  • For both blush and bronzer application use an angled brush
  • Bronzer should be one or two shades darker than your skin
  • High lighter should be dabbed on
  • Finish with a generous amount of matt powder

Finish with a generous sprinkle of matt powder with a giant powder brush. Don't use translucent powder as this can look too chalky.

Celebrities use contour makeup all the time. If you look form the inner to outer regions of their faces you will see how the bronzer, blush and high lighter has been used to sculpture the face.
